Trilobite Show

These two pieces (Bristolia, left, and Olenoides, right) from The Trilobite Show with Michel Gagne are both conjectural reconstructions of what living trilobites may have looked like, but the last of the trilobites disappeared during the Permian Extinction around 250 million years ago (after over 300 million years of living in the Earth's oceans), so we can never know how they actually looked.

Personally, I'm glad I don't have to worry about these critters still running around today. I can just imagine the horror, if Spielberg had made a movie titled "Trilobite", instead of "Jaws". Beautifully creepy creation, as usual.
